Donation from Chrome.pt
We received an unexpected donation from Chrome.pt.
March 7th, 2026
With the donation from Chrome.pt directed to Tico & Teco, it was possible to secure quality food for the baby kittens that will soon arrive, as well as for the adult cats. Our gratitude is immense. Gestures like this make all the difference in our work and in the lives of the animals we help every day.
Chrome.pt is a true example of a company made up of people with heart.
Donation from Vetlima
We collaborated with the Tico & Teco Association in the search for donors of pharmaceutical products.
On January 28, 2028, Vetlima generously donated valuable supplements for the cats at the Sanctuary.
Donation from Setcereal
As a result of our diligencies, on February 5, 2026, the Refúgio Animal Angels association received a donation of pet food from Setcereal.
Tico & Teco - Fundraising for Pet Food
The fundraising campaign for the Tico & Teco Sanctuary took place between November 5 and December 15, 2025.
For 12 years, Tico & Teco has been a safe haven for more than 250 cats from all over the country. Each one carries a story — of abandonment, vulnerability, and hope. And it was here, in this sanctuary, that they finally found a home where they are loved, protected, and respected. Many of these animals have no other option but to remain with Tico & Teco. Some are too elderly, others live with chronic illnesses, and there are those who are simply so gentle that they would not survive on the streets.
What do they have in common? They all need — and deserve — to live with dignity. At Tico & Teco, they are given what they were so often denied: freedom, veterinary care, food, and affection. There are no cages here — only space, comfort, and a great deal of love.
The goal was to purchase 100 bags of specialized cat food for shelters. We managed to raise enough funds to purchase 24 bags.
Everyone’s contribution was fundamental; without it, we would never have achieved this.
